Terms of Service — Skilldera

Welcome to Skilldera. By using our platform you agree to these terms. They're written to be readable — please take 5 minutes to read them.

1. Who we are

Skilldera is operated by CodersHub Innovations, a company registered in Buea, Cameroon, founded by Adrian Ebesoh. References to “we” / “Skilldera” mean CodersHub Innovations and the platform.

2. Your account

You must be 18+ to create an account.
You agree to provide accurate information.
You're responsible for keeping your password secure.
One person = one account. Sharing accounts is grounds for suspension.

3. Buying on Skilldera (for learners)

Prices are set by individual creators. Skilldera does not control product pricing.
Payments are processed by Fapshi (Mobile Money). We don't store your MoMo PIN.
Once a purchase is complete, you have lifetime access to the product — even if the creator's subscription lapses. Your access is permanently tied to your transaction record.
Refunds are handled on a per-creator basis. Skilldera admin can assist in disputes.

4. Selling on Skilldera (for creators)

You retain full ownership of all content you upload. We get a limited licence to host and display it on the platform.
You may not sell illegal content, content that infringes others' rights, hate speech, adult content, or anything else we determine is incompatible with the platform.
We will give 48 hours' notice before removing a product unless it constitutes an emergency (illegal content, active fraud).
KYC verification is required before your first payout. We use this information solely for identity verification and legal compliance.

5. Platform commission

We take a commission on each completed sale, based on your creator plan:

Free plan: 15% commission per sale — 0 XAF/month
Pro plan: 10% commission per sale — 9,999 XAF/month
Premium plan: 8% commission per sale — custom pricing

Creator earnings = sale amount minus platform commission. See current pricing at skilldera.co/pricing.

6. Payouts

Creators are paid via Mobile Money (MTN MoMo, Orange Money) in XAF.
Minimum payout threshold: 5,000 XAF.
KYC verification is required before the first payout is processed.
Payout timelines are displayed in your creator dashboard. We aim to process within 24 hours for verified creators.

7. Affiliates

The affiliate programme is free for all users on all plans.
Commission rates on affiliate sales are set by individual creators.
Affiliate payouts follow the same minimum threshold and MoMo rules as creator payouts.
Cookie attribution window: 30 days from first click.

8. Prohibited use

You may NOT use Skilldera to:

Sell or share illegal content
Infringe on copyright or trademarks
Engage in fraud, money laundering, or financial crime
Spam, harass, or abuse other users
Scrape, automate, or attempt to exploit the platform
Resell access to courses you did not purchase the rights to distribute

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time. We retain transactional records as required by Cameroonian law.

10. Disclaimers

Skilldera is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee specific outcomes from courses (e.g. job placement, income increase). Creator content is the responsibility of the creator, not Skilldera.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Cameroonian law, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cameroon. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Buea, Cameroon.

13. Changes

We will update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be emailed to all users with at least 14 days' notice. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
