How does the platform fee work for creators?

When a student buys your product, Skilldera deducts the platform fee (5% Free, 4.5% Starter, 4% Pro, 0% Premium) from the sale amount. The rest goes directly to your creator balance, which you can withdraw to your MoMo wallet.

Is affiliate marketing really free to join?

Yes. The Standard affiliate tier is completely free. You sign up, get your unique tracking link, share it, and earn commission whenever someone buys through it. No monthly fee, no minimum traffic requirement.

When and how do I get paid?

Creators can request a payout from 5,000 XAF. Affiliates can request from 2,000 XAF. During Phase 1 payouts are processed manually within 24 to 48 hours to your MTN or Orange MoMo wallet. Automated payouts via the Fapshi disbursement API ship in Phase 2 (Aug to Sep 2026).

What is the cookie window for affiliates?

Skilldera tracks affiliate referrals with a 30-day cookie. If someone clicks your link and buys within 30 days, even after visiting other pages, you earn the commission.

Can I be both a creator and an affiliate?

Absolutely. One Skilldera account lets you sell your own products as a creator AND promote other creators' products as an affiliate. You switch between roles from your dashboard with a single click.

When does AI Learner launch?

AI learning features are on the Phase 4 roadmap (Early 2027). Subscribe to the newsletter to get notified the day it goes live, and possibly at a founding-user price.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan anytime?

Yes. You can upgrade at any time and the pro-rated difference is applied immediately. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. No contracts, no cancellation fees.

Are there any setup fees or hidden charges?

None. Skilldera charges only the platform fee on each successful sale. There are no setup fees, monthly minimums on the free plan, listing fees, or withdrawal fees.
